May 8th. 1870 Ann Arbor Mi"c"h I started a letter to you after the Sophomore exhibition and intend now to finish it; if you have no objections I will send the old one. The Faculty did notice our trick and suspended six of our boys some of them among the best in the class. We Freshmen think that it is entirely too severe and are taking measures to get them back. The class have setteled the sidewalk afair for $2,25.00: I have not room to explain. I am rooming alone am at no 15 church St.
