Dear John I have been at Crane's Ranch, Bacon Springs, Ft Wingate out on the A.&P. R.R. to State line between Arizona & New Mexico I also have been at San Marcial, Socorro, and Barnalillo Wallace and also Las Vagas - and got 5 letters from you also two messages forwarded from Santa Fe. I did not go back to Santa Fe on account of the extream elevation
