To make Past of Genova some like leaves & some like Plumms with stalks, and stones some white plumms, some redd. Take a pound of the pulp of Quinces, & half a pound of the pulp of Peaches, & so straine them together; then take so much Sugar, as it weigheth, & boile it, till it comes to a candy height; then boile one or two on the fire: then fashion it upon a py-plate, then put it in an oven, after you have drawen bread & when it it is dryed, you may turne it, & so put it in to the oven againe: then close your plumms.
