Hannah More's pudding - 6 oz apples - chopped fine - 6 oz beef suet - chopped fine - 6 oz bread grated - 6 oz currants - 6 oz raisins stoned, + chopped - 6 oz sugar, 6 eggs - well beaten, 3 oz candied orange peel chopped half a nutmeg grated + a glass of brandy - these ingredients should be well mixed the day before it is to be cooked - boil in a well buttered quart mould three hours very fine
