Patrick N Granger died March 7th 1848 [Illegible] [Brister?] child 2nd born March 6th James Youngs child born March 4th [Settled?] in full with J. Miller March 8th Mar Opps taken by B L Vaughan in Nashville, Texas, February 28th and 1848 arrived in Petersburg March th, and committed (by magistrates) in the town of Petersburg (from Dinwiddie) the same day and had his examining trial by the county court the 21st of march and sent on to the Superior Court to be tried on the 17 day of Sepm and Judge Nash presiding appointed by the Governor (Wm Smith) Sepm 12th 1848
