36 A Cure for a Sore Mouth Take a Quarter of a pint of Double Distiled white wine Vinegar a midle sized Tea Cup of Honey ten Leaves of red sage fresh out of the Garden a Lump of Allum about the Bigness of a Walnut & three spoonfuls of red wine Boil it, this has Cured a Cancer A Cure for a runing Sore Take A Good Handful of Brook Lime Wash & pick it Clean then pound & mix it with the Grounds of Strong Bear Boyl it well then take some Wheatin Bran & mix it in it till it be thick then Boil them well
