62 To Make Goulard's Wash To a Quart of watter put 60 drops of Gollard add one spoonful of Spt of wine or Best Brandy ~ this is execellent to repell any little Humour or to wash a scrach or fresh cut, wet a peice of fine old cloth and squeeze it loosly out of it, and lay it on, as a compress, thats to say two, or three times double. A cure for the Rhumatism by doctor License and Mr. Anderson. Take Gum Guaiacum eight ounces salt of nitre two ounces Barbados Spirit one pint make it according to art
