1 pt milk scald let cool some 3 cups flour 1 tablespoon butter 2 " sugar 1 teaspoon salt, add to milk dissolve, compresed yeast in 1/2 cup warm water 1 egg beat stiff, add altogether Stir in flour to make stiff let raise over nite turn over in morning let raise again Then roll out and cut like cookies and let raise 2 1/2 hrs. Butter 1/2 and fold over Bake about 25 min.
