Superior - Dressing for Chicken Salad Beat the yolks of six eggs very light, pour over them a tea cup of boiling vinegar and return to the sauce pan, stirring it constantly for a few minutes - Then set it away to cool. Rub a large table spoon full of mustard with six spoon full of oil - grate in half a potatoe - add a teaspoonflul of salt, and a little pepper, harden the whites by boiling the eggs, chop them and scatter among the salad - then stir all together and pour the dressing over just before serving - Rusk very nice - One pint of milk - Boil it and pour it on a tea cup full of flour. Take 10 ounces of white sugar, stir it into the milk weigh four oz butter and two ounces of lard If the milk in not too hot, add a tea cup of good yeast - & add also the butter and lard - make a soft dough - Do this at noon. In the evening it will be light, knead it over and set it in a cool place till the next morning - Now roll the dough up on the pie board and cut it into small cakes, and let them stand in the pan till very light before baking.-
