Muffins. 2 cups of flour 2 cups of meal. 1 cup of milk. 1 egg 1 1/2 tablespoonfuls of sugar 1 spoonful (tea) saleratus. No-matter. Indian Pudding Scald one pint of milk and pour it over one-third of a cupful of Indian meal Add to it one-half of a cupful of molasses, one-half teaspoonful of salt and one tablespoonful of minced suet. Turn this into a greased pudding dish, add without stirring one-half cupful of cold milk and bake three hours in a very moderate oven. If liked, one-half teaspoonful of ground ginger or cinnamon may be added.
