Powder 1/4 tesp. salt 1 tesp. vanilla bake 15 or 20 min. in moderate oven Crumb Cake 2 cups brown sugar 3/4 cup butter or lard 2 cups flour 1 cup walnuts mix well and take out 1/2 cup for top. 1/2 cup sour milk 1 tsp. soda 1 egg Bake in medium oven about 30 or 35 minutes Snow Cake 1 cup sugar sifted 3 times 3 tbl butter 2 eggs beaten Juice of 1 lemon 1/2 cup milk 1 2/3 cup flour sifted 3 times 1 tsp. Baking powder Bake 45 minutes
