Ginger, Cinnamon, and 3 teaspoons of Saleratus. (the following recipe is crossed out) Soft Ginger Bread 1 qt of Molasses, 1 tablespoon of saleratus dissolved in a half pint of milk 1/4 lb of Lard, 1 tablespoon of ginger, 1 teaspoon of Alum, boiled in water enough to dissolve it, pour all the ingredients together in the Flour, work it in a soft dough, roll it out and bake on tins (end cross-out) Pan Ginger Bread. 1 pt of Molasses, 1 pt of Milk, 1/2 lb of Butter, 1/2 lb of sugar, 11/2 of Flour 1 teaspoon of Saleratus, Cinnamon and Nutmeg. Ginger Nuts 1 1/2 lbs of Flour, 1/4 lb of Butter, 1/4 lb of sugar, 1 tablespoon of ginger, a teaspoon of carraway seeds, cinnamon, cloves, Allspice to your taste, 1pt of Molasses Ginger Cakes 2 teacups of Butter, 2 of sugar, 2 of Molasses, 4 eggs, 1 tablespoon of ginger, 1 of cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of saleratus, 6 teacups of Flour, to
