Angle Food Cake Whites of 8 eggs, 2 large cups of sugar, 1 small cup of butter, 1 cup of sweet milk 2 1/2 cups of flour, half cup of Corn Starch 2 teaspoonfuls of baking powder, flavor to taste. Icing. 1 1/2 cups of gran- sugar, whites of 3 eggs, beaten light, boil sugar with half cup of water, untill it begins to thicken then pour over the eggs & beat till almost cold, flavor.
