Cup Cake. 3 cups of sugar, 3/4 of a cup of butter, 1 cup of sour cream, 5 cups of flour, 6 eggs, 1 teaspoonful of cream of tarter. Beat the butter to a cream, and then add the sugar, then eggs beaten separately and cream with soda in it, Stir in the flour last slowly- mix cream of tarter in flour. Custard for Cake. 1 pt. of sour cream, 1 lb. of almonds made fine, 2 eggs beaten separately, 4 tablespoonsful of sugar, 2 tablespoonsful of vanilla.
