20 Tuesday February 9th 1875. I walked to school and back today. I wrote Aunt Emma a long letter today. We were none of us away in the evening. But had a pleasant time playing cards and singing at home. Wednesday February 10 1875. It was snowing this morning and Will took me out to school It snowed nearly all day. When they came after me in the evening there was a whole load came with Ira. The girls had parasols over them. And we cut up the whole way home. They had eaten supper before they started for me and the table was still in the floor. I ate my supper and changed my dress to go out in the evening. Will and Ira put four horses to the sleigh. And with Manford Shirts there was four couple to go from here. We got Esther and Will Work when we got down town and went out to Mr Burlingames. We spent a pleasant evening. When we got home Aunty had a nice supper for us. After eating that we went to bed. I had an interesting letter from Rob in the evening. The sleighing is splendid.
