31 for myself and one for Mrs Beecher and had them stamped to braid. I went over and had my dress waist fitted. And came back to Beechers to supper. In the evening the young folks from home came along for me and we all went down to Duncans to spend the evening. Had a splendid time. Did not get home till twelve oclock. Cousin Ettie was out home all day. Ira got home. Sunday March 7th 1875. Uncle, Jennie, Cousin Bob and myself went to church this morning. Jennie was sick and we did not stay to sunday school. I helped with the work after I came home. I did not write a line to any one today. In the evening we went to church again. Had lunch after we came home and then went to bed. Monday March 8th 1875. I rode to and from school today. I wrote a long letter to Mother today and sent it to the office by the boys as they went down town tonight. Laura and I had intended to go but they would not let us. Just as they were ready to hitch up we went and got in the buggy and they hitched to her waggon. I trimmed my white velvet sacque tonight.
