50 Monday April 19th 1875. I walked to school and back today. The weather is much pleasanter than it was yesterday. I wrote to Charlie today. When I came from school I changed my dress. Did my ironing and some mending. Tom and Ett spent the evening out home. And Uncle Aleck Chestnut was here all night. Billy came out to take me to the lecture but we thought it rather late to go and only drove down town and back. It blowed up cold tonight. Tuesday April 20th 1875. It was a chilly disagreeable day. I walked to school and back. Ira and Jennie started to McLean Co this morning and Uncle went home. I sewed in the evening when I came home. I wrote Will a note today. Wednesday April 21st 1875. Weather still chilly and cold. I walked to school and back. When I came home in the evening I sewed till supper time. After dark I practiced a little. I miss Jennie and Ira very much indeed. I did not get any letters tonight. Havent recieved one yet this week.
