64 hours then came on home. Father and Otto were at the depot. The folks were all up and glad to see me. After talking some time I went to bed. Very tired and glad to get home again. Friday May 28th 1875. It rained some today. I unpacked my trunks and put away my things. Helped a little about the work and visited with the folks. Late in the afternoon Mother and I drove over to town in the buggy I saw quite a number of my friends. Saturday May 29th 1875 Cousin Anna who is here and myself washed some this forenoon. In the afternoon Mother and Anna went over to town. I ironed some and helped more or less with the work all day. Sunday May 30th 1875. I helped do up the work this morning and in fact was at work most of the forenoon. In the afternoon we had callers. Will and Lou Beeson were over with others from town. And Jim Folsom was here. After supper Lee and I took a ride to town to mail a letter I had written to Charlie We drove down to Robinsons a little while. I felt tired and went to bed early. Weather pleasant.
