76 Wednesday June 30th 1875. I went over to town early this morning in the buggy and attended the exercises at the University which were very good. I got home a few moments before twelve and helped Mother get the dinner on the table. Some of the folks were late to dinner, and we were late getting the work done up. I cut out Rob two shirts in the afternoon. In the evening we girls went to the re-union, I with Rob and Hatt with Mr Webb. I enjoyed myself very much indeed. The boys packed their trunks and took them to the depot this evening. A year ago today Owen graduated and started home and it was his 21st birthday. Thursday July 1st 1875. The boys all got started this morning. All but Mr Webb going on the early morning train east. He went west at ten oclock.l it was a gloomy rainy morning. I sewed on Robs shirts after cleaning up the house. And after dinner I baked cake to have for supper as Hattie had all the neighbors invited in to help celebrate the last day of her school. It rained nearly all the
