77 afternoon but we managed to entertain them in doors. It was nearly nine oclock before we got through with our dish washing and we went to bed right away. Jeff and Minnie McCollister stayed here all night. Friday July 2nd 1875. It rained most of the forenoon. I worked on Robs shirts and got them done by two oclock in the afternoon. Uncle Jim came after Minnie just before dinner and Hattie went with them they were going to the valley as it was the last day of Winnies school. Lee and Jeff had gone on before on horse back. I did quite a washing late in the afternoon and put the clothes in to soak. Winnie got home tonight but Hattie did not. Saturday July 3rd 1875. It was cloudy this morning but cleared up after awhile and I put the clothes out. I began to iron some after the dinner was over. Hattie got home before supper. After supper I took Rob to the depot as he was going to Burlington. I came back through town to get things for over Sunday. Charlie McCollister stayed here all night. Weather hot.
