87. Tuesday July 27th 1875. I got up at one oclock and sat up the rest of the night. At three oclock Mother and Hattie got up and dressed while I got them some breakfast. It was raining but they started. Father took them to the depot. I did some of the cellar work before I got breakfast. At seven oclock I got breakfast and got the folks up to eat. I put in the day doing house-work and ironed some in the afternoon. I had a letter from Cousin Laura today. A rainy day. Wednesday July 28th 1875. It rained nearly all day. I put in the time doing house-work and sewed what time I had on the boys shirts. A long lovely day. Thursday July 29th 1875. A year ago this morning I started away from home. We girls did a fearful washing this forenoon and as soon as we ate dinner Winnie and I went to town. I did quite a little trading. I got a very nice little server something that I have wanted a long time. We wrote a letter to Hattie. As soon as we came home, Lee and Blanche went down town to the childrens party. I put away the
