91 Friday August 6th 1875. I had so much house-work to do this forenoon that I did not get to my ironing till ten oclock. And as I only had a little of it, I got through by noon. I got a letter from Mother and she says they are going to be at home Monday It provoked me terribly. Emma and I were to town in the afternoon. We wasent gone long. And I mended the clothes and put them away after I came home. Did the evening work and went to bed early. Saturday August 7th 1875. I got up early this morning and just more than flew into the work I got ready to go to town a little after eight oclock. I rode over with Father and after attending to my errand I walked over to home I was very tired when I got home. I talked with Mr Rankin in the morning and he told me some-thing that made me feel so bad, so bad! Every day brings some new trial. I attended to my work during the remainder of the day. Aunt Sarah and some of the children were here this afternoon. Emma went home and Blanche staid.
