101 Wednesday September 1st 1875. Mother went to town this morning for a man to plaster some up stairs. He came right over with her. We girls cleaned and papered the sitting room cupboard while she was gone. Took the things out of the east room up stairs and the sitting room. Washed wood-work and calcimined the ceiling in the room up stairs besides washing the wood-work in the sitting room. Thursday September 2nd 1875. Put the things back in the east room and cleaned the back rooms today It rained so the boys were at home in the forenoon and they calcimined the ceiling in the sitting room, and began the other one up stairs. I cleaned the kitchen cupboard in the morning. Late in the afternoon we cleaned up Robs little room. Friday September 3rd 1875. I went to town this morning and got the paper for the sitting room and we got it on the wall and the room all fixed before night. Mother washed the kitchen wood-work today. I got pictures from Mr Clausen Winnie went to the country.
