102. Saturday September 4th 1875. We girls washed in the forenoon. Mother went to town But got back in time to get the dinner in the afternoon she attended the funeral of Mrs Gower. Hattie cleaned the parlor in the afternoon and I did some ironing. We had an early supper and went to town. I got me two new ties. It was after dark when we got home. Frank and Adda Fletcher spent the evening here. Sunday September 5th 1875. Mother and I did a little baking this forenoon Rob and Hatt went to the valley Mother and Father went to Uncle Jims and Otto to Fletchers. So Lee and I ate dinner alone The afternoon was extremely warm. I wrote a letter to Allerton. Late in the afternoon I took a ride on old jack. In the evening wrote to Billy Reed. Monday September 6th 1875. I went to town this morning and got muslin for Otto some shirts and came home and began to work on them. I wrote to Charlie right away after dinner and then worked some
