118 Thursday October 21st 1875. I finished up the ironing this morning and went over to town in the afternoon. Helped with the evening work and went to bed early. Friday October 22nd 1875. I helped with the work all the forenoon. Aunt Sarah was here for dinner. I got ready to go over to Rhetoricals as soon as I had eaten my dinner. Mother and Aunty came over and we stayed to see them drill. It was a pleasant afternoon and I enjoyed it very much indeed. When I got home found Hattie home. I attended society in the evening. Saturday October 23rd 1875. It was a pleasant morning and we got the Saturday work done in the forenoon. After dinner Mother and I went to town and did ever so much trading. I walked home and let Father ride. After we got the work done up in the eve we invited Mr Bently and Mr Pottle down to play cards. We had a jolly time. Sunday October 24th 1875. It was very pleasant this morning and I went to church. Henry and Liz Mygatt were
