Sunday January 1st, 1933. A nice winter day. I went to S Sv church with Ott and home with him for dinner. William brought me home about three oclock. I read awhile and took a sleep. I read in the evening. Monday January 2, 1933 There was no mail delivery or stores open today. I was busy with the work part of the AM. Minnie Showers was here most of the afternoon. Mrs Gay up in the evening. later I read in a book. Tuesday January 8, 1932 Letters from LeGrand and Mrs. Rowe. I wrote Winnie and Birdie. Mary took me up town in the forenoon. Hattie was here all afternoon. I was doing some sewing. Weather very pleasant. Down stairs in evening. Wednesday January 4 1933 I went up to the church by taxi a very good day. Mrs. Hunter brought me home. I read in the evening. Weather wonderful for the time of year. Thursday January 5 1933 I was busy about the house in the forenoon and sewing in the afternoon. Cora stopped a moment. They had been out to the farm where Rob [put?] the big dog. Cora went out to Andersons for Hattie. Ott was here for supper. But could not stay long. This is Mother's birth-day and it is 18 years today that Hattie and I started to Florida together.
