Saturday, January 21st 1933 - It was a foggy day. Hattie here in afternoon. I was down talking to Mrs Gay awhile in the evening. Sunday, January 22- 1933 - I went to S Sr church with Ott. We stopped and got Birdie to go over to Otts to dinner with us. William & Mary took us for a ride and brought us home about four o'clock, weather clear again. Wrote [Lois?] & Dora Brown. Monday, January 23- 1933 - Birdie rode to Oxford with Rob. Then went up to the Library. I did washing and cleaning. After dinner read the paper and rested awhile as did Birdie. I wrote LeGrand in the evening. A very fine day. Tuesday, January 24- 1933 - A wonderful winter day. The Whetstones took Birdie to Burlington for the day.
