Friday January 27-1933 We were both home all day. Birdie did some washing and slept awhile in P.M. I read in PM and wrote Lois Simpson and Roxie Roboneau. In the evening Hattie called to tell us Aunt Emma had a fall today. Saturday January 28 - 1933 I did some baking in AM and Birdie ironed. Cora took Birdie to Oxford with her in the afternoon, and Hattie was here with me. Ott got home from St Louis last night. William and he came before the Whetstones went home. Word from Aunt Emma very serious wrote Lorna Sunday January 29 - 1933 I went to S Sr church with Ottt. Rob took Birdie up there and Hattie & me after church He brought us home late in the afternoon. I read in the evening. Monday January 30-1933 Birdie rode to Oxford with Rob. I gave the rooms a good cleaning. She went up town in the afternoon. I rested and read some. A letter from Mrs. Falk. Tuesday January 31st 1933 Erma Fellman here sewing for Birdie. Hattie and Cora here in afternoon. We were tired and went to bed early Wednesday February 1st 1933 Mary took Birdie and me up to the church to the association meeting. Hattie and Cora there. Later we went over to Mildred McCallisters to call. They left me at home. Birdie went with them. Letter from Winnie
