Tuesday February 7- 1933 A frightful blizzard and very cold. I was not out of the house. Did some sewing slept in the afternoon Letters from Winnie & Ida. Was down stairs in evening Wednesday February 8- 1933 I washed more curtains in AM and fixed my red satin dress in the afternoon Very cold. below zero Letter from Roxi [Robineau?]. Wrote Alice Condon & Grace Mc. Callister Thursday February 9- 1933 Very cold. 23 below zero. I ironed curtains and got ready to go out to Swishers to a Red Luncheon Rob took Hattie & Birdie. Then came for Cora and me We had such a pleasant day. The Pratts brought me home I put up curtains Ott here awhile he brought 25:00 interest I gave Mrs.Gay 20.00 Wrote Ida and Winnie Friday February 10- 1933 still very cold I did some cleaning and more washing. I slept awhile in P.M. Letter from Mattie Stitt Saturday February 11- 1933 I was busy most of forernoon. Ott here for dinner. Rob took me up town afternoon. I met Hattie & Birdie at the Englert. We saw Eddie Cantor in "The boy from Spain". We walked home. Cora here to take the girls home. I read in evening. Sunday February 12- 1933 Rob took me to church. Ott & Mary brought me home. After dinner I wrote Kate Rowe, Cal Fanny Eggleston & wrote to Mrs Meister. Mrs. Gay asked me to ride to West Liberty with her late in PM. Birdie came back tonight
