Friday April 14- 1933 It was raining so I came to the station in a taxi. Winnie came with me. Ott met me. Hattie here for supper. [Mallie]? all evening some mail here. Robert [McCallister]? called to tell us Mrs [Shultz]? had died very suddenly at eleven o'clock. wrote Ida. Saturday April 15- 1933 I unpacked my things It really took most of the spare time for the day. with visiting with Birdie Ott as well as William & Mary here to call. In evening wrote Lena & Edith & Will & Flora [Loragood]? Sunday April 16- 1933 I went to S Sr Church with Ott. Hattie came home with me for dinner. Soon as we ate William & Mary came and we drove to Mt Pleasant to attend Mrs Shultz funeral. It rained while there. We stopped at Otts for lunch and to spend the evening Monday April 17-1933 I did some washing in forenoon. Birdie rode to Oxford with Rob. We rested in afternoon and read in evening. Tuesday April 18-1933 Birdie did washing in forenoon. Rob was here for quite a long call. We rested in the afternoon I was down stairs a few moments in the early evening. Mrs Gay reports Mr [&]? Mrs [Forermans]? Hill very sick. Hattie spent the evening here I had letter from Ida, she will come later on. Wrote to Winnie.
