Monday May 15- 1933 I did some washing and other work in forenoon. Rob took me up town after dinner. I was at Dr Smiths office. Did some errands and called on [Lora]? [Mohana]?. Stopped at the store and Rob brought me home. [Mellie]? [Storms]? here in evening. Tuesday May 16- 1933 The [Whitrtones]? drove to Des Moines today. I wrote Le Grand in AM. Letters from Birdie and Ida. She is in [Granville]? I slept awhile in PM The [Whitrtones]?did not get home till ten o'clock. weather not good. Wednesday May 17-1933 I put a new cover on rocking chair back and cushion in forenoon. I wrote Ida in afternoon. Later I rode to the farm and out to [Cordsville]? with Mrs Gay and her Aunt Mrs. Hill. I stopped at Library for books. Read some. A rainy evening. Thursday May 18- 1933 The regular AM work. I went up to Hatties with Mrs. Newcomb to a Red party. Such a nice day. I came home with Rob after supper wrote Winnie. Letter from Lena. Friday May 19- 1933 Busy about the rooms. Letters from Winnie & Mrs Falk. Ott here for dinner. In afternoon I wrote a letter to the Associated Gas & Electric as they keep sending mail to me. I have no such [funds]? Slept awhile read some In the evening wrote Grace Taylor and Emma Herriott.
