Friday July 14- 1933 Such a warm morning. I did some cleaning A letter from [Lorna]? says they will not come now Edith does not feel like taking the trip I wrote them and to [Winnie]? before dinner. I sewed some in PM [illegible] [illegible] with Mrs Gay on porch in evening after Red took me up there for supper he [&] [illegible] [away]? Saturday July 15- 1933 I sewed some in forenoon. I rested in ofternoon the weather cooler than yesterday. I dressed to go to The [Elder]? Daughtes party at Lizzie [Irish]?. [Cora]? came for me. Rob brought me home. It was such a pleasant meeting Ruth [Irish]? [illegible] these. Sunday July 16- 1933 I went to SS [&]? church with Celt. Mary [&]? [Alberta]? there. Hattie and I went home with Celt. Rob [&] Cora took [Alberta]? to Cedar Rapids. and Hattie [&] me at her house to stay till they got back. Rob [&]? [Alberta]? brought me home. Such a fine day in every way. Monday July 17- 1933 I did some extra work in the kitchen. Hattie told me she had a letter from [Bertha]? Williams telling of Josephines death I rode to Cedar Rapids with The [Byringtons]? to put Alberta on the train for home. Wrote [Mallie]? [&]? Bertha Williams The evening on the porch home again.
