Friday August 25-1933 celt went to Des Monies early in his car and I rode over with [illegible]? I sewed all AM on slips I am fixing. Rested in ofternoon. Hattie called me soon ofter I came over to say good by before she started east with The [illegible] celt home at 9- oclock Saturday August 26- 1933 I came over with celt was busy all AM. Wrote to Mrs [Falk]? celt heard from William at St [illegible] I stopped up town at one oclock to do errands was at The Dr office. Soon ofter I got home Flotd came for the chair [Mallie]? was to have. Martin [illegible] and family called on us at celts before supper. celt had his friends to play coquet in evening Sunday August 27- 1933 There was no church today. celt came to the office to do some writing I came over to my rooms wrote Mary. celt came for me before noon. I slept awhile in PM. We [listened]? to the Radio in the evening. [illegible crossed out line] Monday August 28- 1933 I was sweing on my gray silk slip when I came back after dinner stopped and changed [illegible] shoes and did others shopping home by Bus. Home with celt card from Hattie at 5 oclock Tuesday August 29- 1933 I put in my [illegible] time sewing. I stopped up town at one oclock I got some things at [illegible]. Had shoes fixed and to the doctors office. Did not get home till three oclock. Rob [&]? [Cora]?to the fair at Des Moines a fine day.
