Thursday September 7- 1933 Mr Gay has [illegible] done in the rooms I left I got up early and I finished my letter to Hattie Then took things out of bath room [&] kitchen and was busy all the time I was here. I had supper with Mrs Gay and took her to The [illegible] to hear George [Arlirs]? in [illegible] sich a hot day. Letter from [sir]? [king]? at [Dubuque]? Friday September 8- 1933 I had breakfast with Mrs Gay and went up to my room. I put some things away in the attic and was busy all forenoon. I worked on curtains a little in ofternoon. After supper celt and I went to Fred Stevens to spend the evening with [Giles]? and [Adda]? [Lumband]? who are here for a few days. I talked with [Cora]? today. Hattie is in Everett. The [Ensigns] are home. Saturday September 9- 1933 I came over with celt at 8 oclock. The south rooms are ready and [Mrs]? [Larson]? [&]? daugter moving in [&]? did some working and not much of anything in PM Letters from Hattie [&]? [Winnie]?. celt came home early. The head today [finly]? unbear-able. On the porch in evening. Sunday September 10- 1933 still very warm we neither of us left the place all day. I lay down most of the ofternoon and we listened to The Radio ofter I had prepared our suppers. It seemed very quiet every where. People [worn]? out with the head.
