Thursday September 21st- 1933 I made drapes for the bed-room door in the forenoon and fixed a dress in the ofternoon Letters from Hattie and Mrs Falk. [Lorna]? [Mohana]? called Mary here in AM Friday September 22- 1933 I put down the rug in my dinette in the AM and re-arranged the things in my cup boards. I got ice in the [refrigertor]? Mrs Gay got the door down where I want to put my drapes. William [&]? Mary here, They took me up town to do a couple of errands I wrote Hattie in evening. very warm. letter from [Winnie]? Saturday September 23- 1933 I was busy most of the forenoon. celt was here for dinner he brought me 50.00 from [Murphy]? and took 30.00 of it to pay my taxes. I fixed some curtains in the ofternoon for cupboard doors. I read all evening Sunday September 24- 1933 I got my work done and was ready when celt came to take me to SS [&]? church. went home with him. Read the paper and rested. William brought me home at 5. oclock. I read a book in evening [&] down stairs also wrote Hattie [&]? [illegible] - [papers]? Monday September 25- 1933 I did some working ad read a little I did not feel very well. I slept in ofternoon It has been very warm. I was down stairs a little while ofter supper. But went to bed early. a storm with much rain kept me awoke awhile I looked over old letters to destroy
