Thursday November 2- [1938]? I did some sewing in the AM. celt was here for dinner. Another letter from Lorna. I wrote her. I plan to go over there Monday. It rained in aftermorn Mrs Gartner here awhile. I was invited to John Hedges for supper. [Elaine]? took her [Mathes]? and me came for us very pleasant. Friday November 3- 1933 a cool bright day. I did the morning work. a letter from Mrs Falk. Hattie came for dinner. soon after we went to a picture show Later I did some errands Hattie went home by Bus I walked both ways read in evening fine day. Saturday November 4- 1933 I went up town with Mary and home with her for lunch Hattie came later by Bus we listened to the foot ball game. Roy [Chamberlean]? from Ames with some friends would be there for supper. William brought us home. I had some work to do. got Mrs Falks picture Gave Mrs Gay [$]? 20.00 Sunday November 5- 1933 I went to SS [&]? church. with celt. we took Hattie home and stayed till three oclock. I got some things ready to pack. I wrote Ida. Le Erand and Kate Rowe. Monday November 6- 1933 I got the work done and finished packing I had dinner and done up the work celt came and took me to the 3.35 train. The wait at [Borean]? not long. The Girls with Mr Meirter met me. The ride out was pleasant so nice to be here again.
