Saturday November 18- 1933 The girls busy with work for the church tomorrow night Edith took me over to spend the afternoon with [Woolfs]? Stewart Alexander and wife here for supper and to spend the evening such a pleasant time Sundat November 19- 1933 We went to SS [&]? church. Then to [Armacosta]? for dinner. [Cether]? Company there. a pleasant visit till four oclock home for a few minutes and down in the country to The [Plishes]? for supper. Then to The church to The Pageant of Queen [Esthor]?. Home at ten oclock letter from Hattie Monday November 20- 1933 a beautiful day. Lorna took Edith to school and later we were ready to drive to [Peania]? bringing The Briggs girls with us. I got a bus soon after twelve and came by [Galesburg]? [&]? Davenport reaching home at 6.30. I phoned Rob from The Jefferson and he brought me home. I got some thing more to eat and unpacked my things went to bed. This is the anniversary of Charlie [&]? Idas wedding just such a day Tuesday November 21st- 1933 I put in all the forenoon cleaning the house as so much dust had blown in last week After my dinner I slept awhile. Hattie came about 3.30 and stayed till Rob went to supper. I wrote in this book in the evening. weather cooler
