Wednesday January 17- 1934 I read the paper part of the forenoon. Celt and Buddy here for dinner Letter from Mattie Still tells Josephine Esher died sunday. I sewed on my spread in afternoon. letters from Lorna I wrote her in evening. Thursday January 18- 1934 Mary took me up town early. went to the bank to deposit [$]? 40.00 Then to Dr Smiths office I came home by Bus. Later got ready to go to Whimarys to A Red party with The Whetstones. such a nice time. Mrs Records brought me home. I wrote Winnie in evening Letter from Fannie [illegible]? Friday January 19- 1934 I was busy all forenoon Celt here for dinner soon after Mary [&]? Hattie came to take me over to Folsan place we worked all afternoon with things to be taken care of Mary brought us home. I did evening work fine day Saturday January 20- 1934 I was busy with the work all foremorn I did some washing and in aftermorn changed things about in the closets to make room for Idas things I finished my table cover. Ida came about six oclock Sunday January 21st 1934 celt came to take us to SS [&]? church I got dinner after he came home Early in PM. William came to take us to The Folsams house. Celt Mary and The Browns were there. Rested after we came home Hattie here till late bed-time weather not at all cold.
