Tuesday March 13- 1934 Weather still cool. We went down town early to go to see Katherine Hepburn in The Spitfire a good picture Evening at home. Wrote Winnie. Wednesday March 14- 1934 Mrs Falk busy about the house. We went down town early as she wanted some things done to the car. I spent the oftermorn at Pickens was sorry to find her not well. Letter from Celt with one from LeErand enclosed. Evening at home. Weather warmer. Thursday March 15- 1934 Mrs Falk had company today six ladies out for luncheon. We went down town in AM of an errand a letter from Hattie. There were callers late in PM. We went down town at 5.30 Evening at home. Friday March 16- 1934 I crotcheted some. did some washing and wrote Hattie [&]? John McCallister. Paid Mrs Falk ten dollards. We went down town in PM. called at Mrs Lornamens The Birkwitz here to play cards in evening. fine day Saturday March 17- 1934 Worked at crotchet some. wrote letter to Will Work and cards to Lorna Mohoma Erma Herriott Blanch Black Lou [&]? Dora Brown. The Smiths in Iowa City. [Zach]? [&]? Alice Brown Kate Rowe [&]? ME Calbertson. We were down town in PM I got a pair of stockings at Drekas. The Birkwitz here in evening to play cards. A beautiful day
