Thursday May 3- 1934 I went up town by Bus. did some errand was at Dr Smiths office. We arranged to wait till next week to have this operation on my face. Stopped to call at John Hedges on the way as I walked home I finished Mrs Gays table cover. Letter from Birdie Friday May 4- 1934 I did ironing and extra work about the house. Mrs Gay up awhile I paid rent for the month Hattie not able to use her arm. I wrote Birdie and Edith for her. Slept some in ofternoon very warm. Got my cover seat chairs [illegible] cost $2.00 Saturday May 5- 1934 I was busy most of forenoon. read the paper Celt here for dinner. I was in Mrs Larsons rooms most of the afternoon listening to radio reports of The High School Band concert over at The Field House. I did a little crotchet work. a very warm day and no rain yet Rose left Whitstones today Sunday May 6- 1934 WIlliam is 36 years old today I went home with Celt from church. very warm day. about 5- oclock William took me up to see how Hattie was. Evening on the porch with Mrs Larson Monday May 7- 1934 Will would have been 86 years old today. I was busy sewing what time I had. Mallie here in AM. In afternoon Lorna Mohona called. Later Mrs John Hedges [&]? baby here Mrs Gay got the screens in after supper Hattie better. a card from LeErand. letters from Alberta [&]? Mrs Falk.
