Sunday May 13- 1934 I rested when not busy with the meals. A Mr Haos called in the oftermorn I met his people in De Land William [&]? Mary here too a fine rain last night Monday May 14- 1934 I did some washing. Hattie here for dinner. Then went on to The Home board meeting Cora drove past and took her. Hattie had been to The Doctor. Dr Smith here to dress my face. I rested some. Wrote Birdie in evening. Tuesday May 15- 1934 I did ironing in forenoon Mrs Gay not able to go to The store. I went up town soon after dinner. by Bus. I got the material for a new dress. a pretty silk. I waited awhile at "The Englert" for Hattie to come and we went in to see "George Arlise" in The Rothchilds a wonderful play. we came on down home. Rob soon came for Hattie. letters from Birdie [&]? Winnie I was down stairs awhile went to bed early. Wednesday May 16- 1934 I cleaned cupboards in forenoon. Mary took me up town at one oclock. I did a few errands. was at Dr Smiths office for him to look after my face. walked home. Wrote Winnie after supper Thursday May 17-1934 I was busy about the house read the papers. Celt here for lunch. I crotcheted and took a sleep in PM. I went to the supper at The church with The Andersons and Mrs Newcomb brought me home. Celt there but could not stay Elmer began painting the Gay home today.
