Sunday June 3- 1934 I did not try going to church. There was a shower early in AM so I slept some. Charlie Moreland of Atlantic called in afternoon. Rob took me to ride after supper. Mr Gay away. I slept down stairs very much cooler rain in south. Monday June 4- 1934 an intensely hot day. I was down with Mrs Gay much of the time a hard rain at 6- oclock. So hot celt did not come to the office in the PM William in Des Moines Tuesday June 5- 1934 It was still hot in AM. Hattie here part of forenoon. a hard shower early in aftermorn. I slept some. Mrs Gay went home with Helen late in the aftermorn. Wednesday June 6- 1934 Mary came and took me up town to pay bills. I got a dress patern at Getters that William took me up town to change early in PM. and on up to The church. Hattie there. I rode home with The Hunters Mrs Gay away for supper. Letters from Lorna and Winnie Cooler tonight Thursday June 7- 1934 I was busy about the rooms in foremorn William [&]? Mary took me down to Jeff McCallisters after early lunch. I looked at Marys graduation present and visited awhile before I came home by Taxi. Mrs Gay asked me to have supper with her. In evening I wrote a long letter to LeErand and cards to Lorna Ida Winnie Mattie Still [&]? Birdie I slept up stairs
