Monday July 2- 1934 I did a little washing I did some crocheting. Celt here for dinner. Slept in PM. very warm. Mary [&]? Buddy took me a short tide in the evening Tuesday July 3- 1934 Mary took me up town early to do some errands Hattie came later and stayed till noon. Cora expects to go to Minneapolis Friday. I ironed in PM got mail ready to take to the box after supper. Wrote letters to Lorna [&]? Betty did up package for her. Cards to Winnie Ida Will Work [&]? Emma Herriott Wednesday July 4- 1934 It was cooler this morning. Rob came to take me up there. I finished a quilt for Hattie. The heat in the aftermorn was terrible. Celt came about four oclock We had a nice supper at 5.30 Rob had to go to the store It came up a storm that there was no fire works over at the park. William came for us at ten oclock Celt had tripped on the porch rug and sprained his foot. Thursday July 5- 1934 There has been little rest for two nights on account of noice. Lorna called by phone this am to know about my coming over the last of the week I wrote her in time for the evening mail as well. as to LeErand got the letters over to the box before a rain at supper time. Celt still in bed with his sprained foot. Hattie [&]? Cora to a luncheon Then went to Byringtons Letter from Winnie and a [illegible]
