Saturday August 11- 1934 The Whitstones came soon after 8- oclock. We started right back was here by dinner time I had dinner and supper with The Whitstones spent the afternoon and night here Cards to Winnie Ida Nellie Celt Seibert Emma Herriott [&]? Lorna [&]? Edith Sunday August 12- 1934 The Byringtons young folks left for Idaho early with Mary brother and sister Glo. Celt came for me at eleven oclock. I slept in PM We were on the porch all evening Monday August 13-1934 I did not do much of any thing in AM. Came over to my place at one oclock. [Tirhie]? Hedges here most of the PM. I wrote Celt Seibert. Home with Celt Evening on the porch. Tuesday August 14- 1934 I slept late. Celt in Davenport for the day. Hattie came over to spend the day with me. Read in evening. Wednesday August 15- 1934 I wrote Lorna [&]? Edith in forenoon. It rained most of the day. I spent the afternoon in my own rooms. Did some writing Mr [&]? Mrs Gay away tomorrow [illegible] Evening with Celt. Thursday August 16- 1934 I wrote Mattie Still in AM. I came over with Celt after dinner. Hattie here we took her home We sat on the porch in the evening. Letter from Mrs Falk Friday August 17- 1934 I did not feel so very well. read some and slept in PM. A man here doing work for Celt about the place a man came for The radio. Evening on porch.
