Thursday August 23- 1934 I wrote Lorna [&]? Ida in forenoon. Hattie spent the PM with me. Mr [&]? Mrs B Lee called in the evening. fine day. Friday August 24- 1934 I worked all forenoon cleaning about the rooms. Slept part of the afternoon. The young folks got back at 3.30 this morning so I came home early with Celt. Saturday August 25- 1934 Mr Stark gone up his room today Mrs Gay had help and got it about ready for me. I put some things up in the attic. Mallie Stevens here most of the PM. Tishie [&]? Johns wife called. Celt was here for supper and we went up to Hatties. He stayed here till nine oclock. Sunday August 26- 1934 I wrote Lorna this morning about The Byringtons possible trip east taking Hattie with them. And to Alberta. Rob came for me at noon. Did not come home till after supper. Cleaned out table drawer in evening Monday August 27- 1934 I put away more things and did some washing. Celt here for dinner. I rested in PM. Mrs Gay at the store today. I wrote Lorna Hattie [&]? Cora here late in aftermorn. Tuesday August 28- 1934 I was home all day. I put away some things getting ready to move down stairs. Letter from Winnie [&]? Lorna. She wants the Falks to stop there tomorrow night. They will. I phoned her in evening.
