Saturday September 29-1934 I worked at Mrs. Gays table cover in afternoon Hattie came before lunch. We went to see George Arlins in "The Last Gentleman" in the afternoon. walked up and look. Cena came for Hattie. Here alone in evening Sunday September 30-1934 I went to SSs church with Ott. The church looks so different you feel a stranger in it. But beautiful and no doubt necessary to arrange it this slight front of PM. Listened to radio in evening with Mr+ Mrs Gay. Monday October 1st 1934 I wrote Winnie and Lorna as soon as I had breakfast Soon after dinner Mary came with Paul Fletcher and wife she was driving the new car. They took me with them up to Hatties for a call. I went back to Otts with them to stay till after super. such a pleasant time. They go home tomorrow. Tuesday October 2-1934 Mary brought The Fletchers to call in the afternoon Later I rode to Salem with Mrs Gay. She took me up town in pm. I callled on Lornor Mahona. walked home I am working on Mrs Gays (cross stiched?) white cover. Wednesday October 3rd 1934 William took me up to The Church late in the afternoon. an interesting meeting. Hattie had Emma sewing so could not come. The Hunters brought me home. Weather the last few days very fine.
