124 Saturday October 1st 1932. Reached Omaha at 8.30 had breakfast and left for Los Angeles at ten oclock Very quiet in the car I slept some. Had supper in The Diner Sunday October 2- 1932. Slept well. When in The Observation Car after breakfast met a lady who knew Margie Hartsock. Was at Salt Lake City at 10.30. Rested in PM. Had supper with Mrs Henderson Monday October 3- 1932. Reached Los Angeles at 8.30 I came directly to The Rosslyn Hotel and have room 478 wrote letters to Hattie LeGrand Mabel McDougall & Ott Seibert. Cards to Mrs Doyle The Robanovs. Marnie Briggs The Mason girls Emma Herriott Dr Ned Smith & Mollie Stevens I rested before going down for supper The evening with Mrs Greenholgh. Tuesday October 4- 1932. I wrote cards to Elizabeth Felkner Anna McCallister and Mrs Searles. Went out to Taylors to spend the day Spent the evening down stairs. Weather fine Wednesday October 5- 1932 Ott Seibert called me this morning. I went out there at ten oclock I found she had she that was Maude Miller with her. We went to a club meeting and luncheon I was at Seiberts awhile after that. Got back to the hotel at six oclock. Letters from Hattie & LeGrand. Wrote Winnie & Bro Ott.
