Tuesday, December 19, 1865. School went off finely today & my prayer was fully answered. Just after recess in the P.M Manda came & stayed till school was out. Then we had a half hour all to ourselves. Went together to Mrs Dees and had a good time. Came home & didn't go to the donation for a very excellent reason Wrote to Mrs P-. How we find out some people sometimes. O! for more patience with the frailties of others, when I have so many myself.
