Saturday January 6th 1923 Was here at Falks all forenoon I wrote Hattie went downtown in afternoon. Music in the evening Sunday January 7th 1923 A neighbor took us to church as Mrs Falks car would not go. Had dinner at Hutchinson Hall. Later Mrs Falk and I went to a fine concert. The same people brought us home. The Pickens had called.and the Taylors were here later. Letters from Betty B- & Ella Nagle Monday January 8th 1922 My trunk came this morning and I unpacked it. Wrote Lydia. Mrs Falk and I went to town and saw the picture show "The High Seas" that was filmed by a man whose home was in DeLand. Letter from LeGrand Tuesday January 9th 1923 I pressed my dresses and wrote Lydia and LeGrand We went to town and saw the picture show "Smudge" I had a letter from Hattie. It is snowing at home. Wednesday January 10th 1923 Did fancy work and wrote Hattie. Spent afternoon with Mrs Pickens while Mrs Falk at Science rooms.Letter from Birdie Thursday January 11th 1923 Wrote Lizzie Lindley and did fancy work.We went to town in PM.to a picture show. A neighbor here in evening Friday January 12th 1923 Did fancy work in AM. We went to town in afternoon Saw Mary Pickford in Little Lord Fauntleroy. Late home. No mail today The weather is perfectly beautiful To bed early.
