Thursday April 19th 1923
I wrote Warner McCall in AM. Mattie busy
with men doing work about the house. I called on
Mrs Tomlinson in PM. Called in the evening.
Friday April 20th 1923
I did some washing & ironing and called on Mrs
Harmon in AM. We rested awhile and before supper
John took me a ride. We all went to picture show
and stopped at Elks Home to watch the dancers.
Saturday April 21st 1923
Mattie and I left at 9.30 for Columbus on the trolly
cars. Had lunch after reaching there before going to
the office of The Briggs. Went home with them before
supper and after that had a nice Auto ride.
Sunday April 22nd 1923
The AM we visited and read the papers. Soon after
dinner they took me to Granville. Found Aunty and
Ida better than I expected. Nellie and Betty came
about 5 oclock. Mattie went back home tonight.
Monday April 23rd 1923
I wrote to Hattie and talked to Ida in forenoon. I
took a nap in PM and later we all walked down town. wrote to Laura.
Tuesday April 24th 1923
Wrote Mrs Falk in AM. Ida and I went to
Newark in afternoon. It was a place that I was
interested in years ago and I was glad to see it.
Spent the evening reading and visiting.
